In-store Acca Insurance
-
So after finally getting the gub stick from all the major bookies that offer acca insurance online I’d like to turn my head to shops. However, just been in this morning to pick up the weekend coupon and deary me, the odds are so way off (to be able to use) compared to online.
Ie William Hill.
Man Utd 1-6 (1.17, compared to 1.22)
Juventus 1-7 (1.14, compared to 1.2)Are the odds on the coupon just out of date and will go through at online odds, or do I simply need to trawl through. See if there’s good matches that are totally different to those thrown up from online and then hope when placing the acca the coupon odds aren’t slashed?
Anybody got any tips on this? I know I may be venturing into the territory where everyone keeps their cards to their chest but worth a shot. FOG, Dan?

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Just a warning with this it is not as lucrative as you think. Firstly, the odds are generally not as good than when you scan the coupon. Secondly, each leg has to be over 1/5. Thirdly, if your lucky enough to get a free bet you have to do this on a treble or above so extracting high percentages is very difficult.
Finally paddy power have the right to void bets that are duplicates if it is deemed to be abusing a promotion. The last thing you want is to have 5 or 10 of the same acca and only be paid out on one if they all win.
By all means good luck but those machines get tracked centrally and it only takes a person in a suit in an office to work out that somebody has place 5 of the same acca in a 10-15 min period in the same shop and void them without you knowing.
+0Thanks Beesty – will certainly bear in mind what you say – I would hate to end up with a load of ACCA’s that have been laid off only to find they have been voided!
+0Missed the term about FB on trebles! Thanks for heads up.
