Instore offers

  • I rarely go near a bookies but the last couple of times I have, they had instore promotions. I have 4 William Hills and 5 McCleans (a local bookmakers) close to me.

Today for instance William Hill had bet £10 on any coupon and get a free £10 BTTS, no draw on any game up to 3.30pm. I think this is potential for decent profit without being restricted.

Also the coupons have fixed odds but the markets change so it could easy be able to break even or profit on your first bet to gain your free bet. I’m also about to test whether it’s possible to choose odds less than 1.5 (I didn’t see it anywhere in the T/C instore).

My reason for posting here as well as the New Offers forums is I see these all the time so could potentially add decent profit for a bit of legwork. I’ve 11 shops to abuse and if offers like this appear I could be making around £50 per day for an hour or twos work.

On a wider radius I have a Ladbrokes, Paddypower and Corals.

If you spot anything could you post it here?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

The BTTS bet is an accumulator so not worth doing but I do notice instore offers that are good from time to time.

Did you walk into the store and ask about the offers or are they just on posters dotted about in there?

I walked in, seen the offer, read the T&C and nowhere did it say the BTTS bet was an accumulator. I lifted a few dockets, came home and posted the offer on here.

Never mind, I backed City @ 1.4 instore and layed on Betfair @ 1.38 so broke even exactly. Asked for my free BTTS and she gave me a docket with the actual promotion and told me to pick 6 (or more). WH usually sucks so I was wondering why it was too good to be true.

Still I got a free 6 timer even though it has practically no chance of winning.

I did notice too late that the Daily Mirror had a free £5 matched bet for McCleans (a NI Chain of independents) today. That offer has usually no strings.

I must check the bookies and papers more often, last time I went in I got an early morning enhanced @ 6.0 that I was able to lay off @ 3.0.
