Is now a bad time to start?

  • I’ve done a few offers this past weekend but am beginning to think now might be a bad time to start because all the major events (football etc) are over? For someone to sign up as a new customer and bet on horses and other random events might stand out to the bookie and get gubbed?

What events should a newbie be focusing on at the moment during their new customer signup offers?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Stick to the bigger sporting events (Wimbledon etc) and you should be fine. Just don’t go placing your freebets on the Ukrainian league 2 footy 🙂

IMO spending a couple of quid in the casino always helps keep the accounts under the radar.

    Enjoy!

    Hi there, beginner here.

I had the same thought, that maybe now’s not the best time to start for beginners due to the lack of football.

So instead I wanted to bet on Tennis as it’s Wimbledon season, however i’m not really sure how to bet on tennis. I’ve read a small amount on betting on Tennis, and it seemed more complex than betting on football, in terms of understanding your odds/surface/players/retirement rules/ etc. So I got scared off Tennis due to the apparent complexity.

Would anyone advise whether Wimbledon is a suitable starting place for beginners? And if so, where should I start? Where can I find more information about betting on tennis? And how do I know the right sort of odds and markets to bet on?

    Thanks for any advice

Read Matts tutorials very carefully before starting…

Also look at golf, and Europa League qualifiers have already started! Sometimes you can get big mismatches (like Rangers vs Niedercorn 😉 ) there for acca insurance offers.

I don’t think that there is any bad time to start.

Even if it’s a little more quiet during the summer helps beginners ease themselves in. Always high profile sport though.

Tennis is probably one to veer clear of for beginners because of retirement rules.
