Lovely as I’m gubbed I could only get 25 on but managed to guarantee 6 quid but made some more trading and arbing some other batsman. Would have liked root to do it but he got ran out by the captain!

Word of warning on these boosts in future! It appears Sky would void any bets where the number of overs are reduced in any cricket match…unless the result of your bet is already known (i.e. if your batsmen already has less than another and is out). Whereas betfair appears to be an unadjusted market as soon as the first ball is faced.

So…because Root was out a few runs short of the best batsman nothing changes on my bet. If he had been still in on a few short of the top batsman though, I believe my Sky bet would have been void so the I’d add this stake to my profit.

However more worringly, had he been top run scorer at the time of the abandonment, betfair would have been settled as a loss yet FACTUALLY my Sky bet void…meaning a massive loss. Dodged a bullet this time…wont be gambling on the UK weather in future though FACT

Blimey did not know that!!! had some arbs on hales and Roy but they all paid out properly. Worst thing is had root been in he would probably have been about 50 ahead of Morgan with less than 50 needed.

I tell u what matchedem I had a great result this evening of 565 betting on the runs market in that innings. My mate lives a mile from the ground where the weather was coming from so was perfect for the interruptions. Kinda knew they were going off before it happened.
