New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

If gubbed u can’t use the grid though can you? Can’t you just do in store normally?
+0Not sure @matchdem, i doubt online gubbings will stop use of Grid cards. The Cashier probably won’t even know why there is a restriction on the account (if there shows up to be), and would just give you a discretionary free bet instead.
If not, open a new one with a new name and dob and use it in-store purely with cash.
+0New name and DOB…surely they check your ID?
+0Cheers. What’s the maximum stake?
+0I checked out the online registration and they take a lot of info like date of birth, home address, email address which they could I guess link back to your restricted online account.
I would say apply in store and give it a go. You can probably fudge some of those Christy instead of Chris, leave out your house number, use a different email. And if they don’t look for id then bob’s your uncle.
Not sure how much effort is worth putting in to this promo. Yeah a draw is quite likely but the QL on the markets listed usually is significant enough. Betstars used to do the same offer online for the champions league matches. Most of them were worth it I guess but not huge margins in it for the effort of going shop to shop.
+0Misread OP – thought this included the 1X2 market – definitely not interested now as you are right about the eligible markets being high QLs

I work in ladbrokes. I have been for 3 weeks.
I have not been asked to check id when opening grid cards up, neither have i seen my colleagues do so, they only check for large withdrawels from online accounts.
Or if you look under 21 when you walk in.To make matters better, a ladrbokes enployee gets £20 for signing someone up to a new multi channel account. So if anything, employees want you to sign up, and won’t give barriers.
If you were to sign up to a new grid card and place all bets with cash and slip otc, you’d be fine, unless they recognised you from a previous visit.
As for QL’s, they aren’t bad in terms of effectual odds of recieving a free bet, but if it’s hard to get to a ladbrokes, then fair enough.
+0Interesting. What is the process when you sign someone up to a Grid Card instore? What personal details do you need to take and do you give the punter the physical card there and then (rather than having to take an address and post it to them)?
+0F.Shep42, any chance of double checking this?
Staff told me that those markets you mentioned are available to all customers. Grid customers get Match odds aswell.
Which is what the offer has been like in the past.
+0Qualifying losses aren’t great but still getting decent value. Obviously not as good as when it was refund if both teams score.
+0Can you do multiple stores?
+0In the euros they had this offer but it included win-draw win bets so it was great on all “Home nation games”

Ht/ftIf this is the case with these games its well worth it
I also have two grid cards from gubbed accounts so i wonder if i can do the bets in the store with out problems . I will try them and find out
I did manage to get the free Casino offers from the gubbed accounts so they are not useless!!!
+0In regards to Fog Blob saying you should put different name address etc , well that could work but make sure you put your friends/family address as they will post it to that address and you obviously need to go pick it up from where it goes!!!
+0@tony
It depends if they have an online account or not. if your Gubbed, you’d go in saying you do not have one, BUT, you don’t want an online account.
We take Name, DOB, address, username, email, and poss tel. no. (can’t remember if that was on there).
The card is given there and then. Most people that come in are middle aged men, who don’t have a clue about online betting.
@mbPunter
I can check this tomorrow, d/o today. I read what i saw on a poster which was going up today. If the staff have said that, i’d assume they are correct, but 1×2 wasn’t quoted on the leaflet i recited.+0
