Ladbrokes are boosting Wijnaldum to score anytime from 4/1 (5.0) to 10/1 (11.0)

No liquidity in the “To Score” market on Betfair yet, but I would imagine that he will settle somewhere between 4.5 and 6.0 nearer kick off, so this should present a decent wee arb, even for you mackems out there (I know we have a few 😉 )

You need a calculator with advanced features (see my post in the Calculators thread on here). It will the do the sums and tell you how much you stand to gain from each outcome at different lay stakes.

If you want to underlay fully, which means the largest profit if bookie bet wins, with £0.00 profit or loss if it loses, then the lay stakes are £10.20 (Smarkets, 2% comm) or £10.52 (Betfair, 5% comm) per £10 bet at bookie.

Couldn’t get my lay matched for Wijnaldum, even offering odds of 20 towards the last 5 minutes as I was desperate! Had to let it run in the end, just won £100! Thanks to Tony for spotting the offer!

I did lay it in the end, although not fully so I came away with about £18 profit too.

Perhaps all those that have trousered £100 on this could kick a wee donation into Matt for running the site/forum? Without it I wouldn’t have been able to share this one and you wouldn’t be £100 richer 😉 (No pressure mind, only a friendly suggestion)
