Matched betting is dead compared to what it was.

Matt’s profit is an unreal statement.
It shows what could be made if you had all the accounts open.
Reality is that by now he would have lost 75 % of those accounts.
He makes his money from the affiliates on here . Have you ever asked yourself how that is ?

Ha, I actually don’t have an issue with how this site is operated, Matt has clearly made a success of it which is surely deserved? It’s more amusement at some people’s apparent naivety.

Anyway, if you had a problem with sites or anything being supported by advertising (however loosely) you’d be cut off from the world.

Which came first, matched betting or sites profiting from matched betting?

Tin foil hat on, it’s probably an easy way to spot people. It would likely create obvious patterns/signals. Bookies are very data driven so I doubt they’re in the dark and will act in the best interests of their business.

I mentioned the profit log – whether Matt is making it in theory or in practice doesn’t matter. It indicates that there are still enough offers out there to make £900 in one month. Matched betting is not dead.

I don’t know why you had to twist this into a cynical conversation about Matt’s site.

Also patrick, have you read some of the post on the newbies boards etc. Not every one on this site is effective matched bettors, the affiliate links are sending genuine punter traffic to the bookie sites too. The bookies (Winner in particular) would be crazy to gub anyone just because they clicked through from this site. I dont think thats the point of the site.
