League 1 double

  • Betfred have boosted Bolton and Sheff utd to 5.0

    bf 12:15 ko Bolton lay @ 2.54

    bf 14:15 ko Sheff @ 1.74

I’m not going to be around when the Bolton game finishes so cant do this but should be a small profit in it

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

@Shaun – Your profit if both teams win would be £34.46 so definitely something wrong. I think you’re forgetting to add your £100 stake to your liability for the second bet.

Nothing wrong with having Fred and Tote, just if you get restricted on one they’ll do the same on the other. Probably made me a good few hundred more having the two (more promos and x2 boosts)

Got money spread around so could only muster £20 on this, better than nothing!

fred gubbed me the minute I signed up with tote, but the tote account is still ok. I don’t use it very often though cos the website is shit and doesn’t load if you block cookies.

Think I’ll hold off opening Tote for a while unless Fred gubs or restricts me. I can always double up boosts and there are plenty of MB offers around.

I used Hatehorses way as it was simple. Shaun’s way was a bit more complicated – may try that next time if you are sure 100% correct calcs. BTW why did you pick 2.7 as the back bet Shaun?.

    Looks dead already this one.

@ sleepless no idea the calcs were off on the 2nd bet anyhow as I didn’t add in the extra £100

And yup as @Chris said this is a dead end bet now

Would it have been possible (for future reference) to have overlaid a bit so as to be in profit if Bolton didn’t win(which happened) and then to make the 2nd game risk free if you see what I mean?

Once the first team has lost the bet is over no need to look at the 2nd match

Yes but, I meant if Bolton did win and you had overlaid could you then lay Sheff Utd for risk free and no loss if you get my drift?

Yes, you could have played about with the numbers to make your profit on the first leg of the double failing to win.

You would have had to work out how much liability you could afford to carry on Bolton (£X) such that ([initial stake + £X]/0.98) laid at the lay price of Sheff Utd wold have resulted in break even.
