Looking beyond sports matched betting….casino offers

  • Evening all

There’s been a few free spins offers recently which have got me thinking about the potential for casino offers.

Clearly these cant be matched in the same way that sports betting can be, but if the expected return is profitable with a low enough variance then this could be worth pursuing.

Does anyone have any experience of the casino offers? Or is there a chain in the forum that already covers this?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Something for nothing i.e freespins etc you don’t have anything to lose providing you show discipline and ensure you don’t deposit afterwards. Coral do an offer most weeks where if you bet £10 on a specified football match you will get a 2/5/10 bonus at random. With a low qualifying loss I think these kind of offers hold value. I’ve certainly made long term profit out of them.

Bonus matches etc are a dangerous game to play because you are investing your own funds and some people although not intending to can get addicted to certain games and the bookies end up getting more money out of you, particularly if you win at the beginning which is usually how you get lured in to spending your own money..

Just look for and use “No deposit free spins” plenty of offers and only deposit to get what you have won out. usually quite large rollovers from the free spins and you could get really lucky one day. I have made about £100 approx from just those offers. others have won substanially more. And they keep e-mailing you with more free spins afterwards, use a seperate e-mail if you can and moniter both.

There’s definitely money to be made from gaming offers but you really must understand that variance can be a bitch, and some of the WR’s can wipe out any value. I always work out my own expected value before each offer to see if it’s worthwhile.

    Examples:

    – Bet £10 on Slot A and get £5 free (10x wagering)
    – Slot A RTP 97%
    – Total wagering £60 return £58.20 (60*0.97)
    – Total spend £55
    – Net result from offer: +£3.20

    – Deposit £100 get £100 bonus (35x wagering)
    – Slot B 98% RTP
    – Total WR £3600 returns £3528
    – Total spend £3500
    – Net result from offer: +£28

To reduce variance you need to be wagering at the lowest stake level, usually 20p. That would be 18,000 spins on the 2nd example. Hardly worth it for £28!

Thanks @starlord I agree variance is key. Might just stick to risk free spins!

To increase EV you actually want to INCREASE variance……provided you have the bankroll to not go busto.

    For e.g

If you have 20 slot deals at 20 casinos of 100+100 with 3500 WR at each you have 70000 total WR. Assume slot pays 98% RTP

    EV = (20 x 100) – (70000 x 0.02)
    = 2000 – 1400
    +600

If you bust out early on 15 of those 20 deals after wagering only 1000 you have effectively reduced your total WR across the deals by half. (No need to wager the remaining 2500 requirement at 15 casinos as you have busted out, 15x 2500 = 37500)

Overall for the 20 offers EV for a 98% RTP slot now becomes:

    EV = (20 x 100) – (37500 x 0.02)
    = 2000 = 700
    +1300

The variance will be sick, but by busting out early on most of the deals you’re hourly goes way up. You’d need a large bankroll and a lot of deals to avoid risk of ruin.

    Your maths is wrong.

You’ve busted out of 15 offers so you need to deduct £1500 from your overall.

Nope, it isn’t. You’re forgetting the other 5 offers where we didn’t bust, where we went on a heater and cashed out winnings.

It seems counter-intuitive, but in the long run busting out quickly before reaching the WR increases EV and hourly win dramatically.

Not for the faint-hearted or under-rolled.

No you don’t because it isn’t MB. It’s maybe half your profit and I include it in my total but it isn’t MB.

I’m new to matched betting and recently tried the new player Bet365 casino bonus offer, deposit £100 and get free £100.
Total waste of time and money, quickly blew through the bonus and since i could’nt withdraw my deposit because it was still tied to the bonus and i had’nt reached the wager requirements i blew through my deposit too.
I’ll stick to free spins until i find a good guide on how to profit from them.

I think youll be looking a long time. You may find something for blackjack poker etc on how to play your hand right but slots are totally random. I did hear that if your gonna win on a slot its likely to happen fairly quick and if you dont win right away try another game. Ive no idea if theres any truth in that or not.
