Is this actually a good offer, Matt? According to my calculations, if you match 51.0 with the 5.5 lay odds, it looks like you can bank ~£8 profit. However, if you factor in the £5 you might lose turning over the bonus if you win, you’d need to reduce the effective odds to 46.0. This brings the profit down to about £7. This would appear to be worse than you’d get if you took the normal bet £10 get a £10 bonus, which needs to be turned over once. What am I missing?

You’re not missing anything @arbs, you’re correct in what you’re saying.

There isn’t a great deal between the two offers but I like to include both as everyone is different. The regular sign up offer may appeal to those looking to lock in guaranteed profits, whereas the odds boost offers may appeal to those who prefer the advantage play approach. If someone fancies Chelsea to beat Man City, they can take the 50/1 odds and they’re only risking £1.
