Shops are an area without much discussion on here – and some of the points such as % underlay, using marginal bad each way races to eliminate qls for mb2nd etc are good to discuss… even if already figured it out good to hear how others are playing it

Cheers Betman. Glad to hear the rambles are goin down alright!. Already feeling withdrawal symptoms knowing today will only be a couple of shops and a minimul amount of ‘bets’ as I ween myself off what has a non stop avanlanche of daily shop batterings (no days off except 2 snow days and Good Friday for 7/8 weeks- and i do cover some ground)
I imagine its PT again today- looks ok at first glance. Might just hit the 340/530 in a few pads and maybe boyles. See what the lads race is (and 1 more free lunch on the house there courtesy of 2 copies of The Sun)

Told the misses yesterday that whatever I made on these I would put in the eating out holiday pot- thinking I’d maybe make £100-150 if all went nice. Ended up with one of best days in a long time close to +400. Had to tell a slight porky and tell her ‘had a great day made nearly £200!’ I dont want be dining out in fancy restsurants everyday! Much prefer pizza/burger an chips etc most of the time

Try and get more ‘bets’ on while im gone! even if the lays a little off at time of bet- like say 2/1- 3.2 for e.g. Take a slight ‘risk’ at losing a few quid here an there as if your picking shortish prices in smallish fields it will come out in the wash!

Another thing- Dont forget if in ireland- that the sun (cost 1 euro) have been printing out free matched fivers on any race punches lads. Got 2 shops near me so thats 2×5 a day -2 costs. Also ( i couldnt bring myself to do it!)- the star (cost 1.50) also doing the same for paddys (i could have made an extra 15-20 a day smashing them- but decided enough is enough! with PP)

Hard work on the prices front early doors. Couldnt really load up too much esp on the latter races. One of those days where uneed to get a few early race bets in in each shop. Then time your returns for a 2nd round assualt when prices are closer.

Finally on the plane. Stressful day doin all the travel bits and keep an eye on the action. Was on top with kemboy profit decent and then got completly scabbered in the 530- over 120 down there(lessin learned there- should have excepted small place loss on the 2tp). The dining out pot was looking like potnoodles and mcd saver menus but thankfully one of my 3 unlaid 10 ew fbs on antey did the buis at 14-1 on me final ‘bet’ before take off. So the eating out is gonna be decent afterall!
