MMB Profit Log & Just Wonder Why There Very Few Horse/2nd Place Wins Bet365 Ect.

  • Hi guys,
I always check in on the profit log and just wonder why theres very few horse racing wins ? I obviously see the Grand National, Aintree but as theres horse racing everyday this site lists the racing but the owner Matt I believe his name is doesnt seem to bet much on these races and seems to play mostly football and wondered why ? Is it anything to do with protecting his accounts or ??
    Cheers James

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Due to the vast horse racing offers it would take forever. He blogs the usual Sky MB ones and occasionally some others.

On going offers such as bet365 4/1, Betfair 3/1 SP etc don’t really get blogged.

hi, What I mean is no results are recorded in the profit log so either he is losing them all and not recording his qualifying loses or he doesnt take part or whatever I just thought it was strange thats all

@ jimkirk1943 I tend to look at Matts blog as what is theoretically possible rather than what one can actually do. Take for example the Betfair 3/1 offer, if you do that all the time, chances are you will be gubbed fairly quickly.

I cant remember how long my account lasted with them, but once I started doing that offer a lot, I think I lost it in less than a month.

My B365 lasted nearly a year, but after having several 4/1 winners in a very short period of time, that went too.

@Dave_Jones Did you mug bet with either of betfair or bet365? If so, how much and how often did you do it?

@ aykoglek, yep done some mug betting, cant really remember how much though. Thing is, I don’t think it matters all that much how much mug betting you do, if you have a run of wins at the bookies then you are likely to be gubbed.

If you like the horses, then E/W arbing seems to be popular and your accounts seem to last longer doing them than if you do the usual offers. I think at times bookies have a big purge and gubb lots of people all at the same time (I lost corals and paddies in these purges and I had done loads of mug betting with them).

MBing doesn’t seem to be as popular as it once was, so perhaps the mass gubbings might be a thing of the past. New people to it need to work a bit harder than newbies had to a couple of years ago, to make decent money. There is still however plenty of money to be made, just look at many of the guys on this forum making over a grand a month tax free. That’s good money as a second income, to pay for extra holidays or what ever.

Hi James. The blog focuses mainly on the big offers, such as money back specials, free bets, risk-free bets etc. I consider horse racing offers to be one of those ‘extra’ ways of boosting our bottom lines. I’ve added a short paragraph to the Matched Betting Challenge page explaining this.
