Multi account Paypal
-
It seems that Paypal is the best way to set up an account ‘on behalf of’ friends/family. I’ve got a friend who’s interested but already has a Paypal account. What I don’t want to happen is I send money to his Paypal and then he is free to just withdraw it to his bank or something. Any way to get round that if the person already has a Paypal account?

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Not that I know of.
If they don’t use it regularly, I’d ask if they mind you changing their password while you’re using it. If they needed it (to buy something off ebay say) you could always change the password back.
I did it for a friend and he wouldn’t give me access to his PayPal, so I had to ask him every time I wanted to deposit, which is a massive pain in the balls (I won’t be doing that again).
+0Yes that must have been a pain. Also I wouldn’t want to leave any of my money in a Paypal account someone else has access to.
+0There is definitely a trust thing… I’d trust my friend with pretty well anything but I ended up in a situation whereby had he wanted to he could have taken £7k of my money. Which with hindsight (and at the time) was a pretty dumb thing for me to do..
