Need to Forfeit £200 aprrox

  • I’ve messed up.
I got a $25 freebet from an American bookmaker and now have a balance of $530.
I’ve completed the requirements of the bonus but didn’t see a clause saying that the max payout from the freebet is $250.
So it wouldn’t take the extra $280 until I withdraw.
So I have $280 I can either forfeit, bet and lay off and hope it loses (risky), or can I do something else?
Is there a way of not losing all of it?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

There’s no certain way that I can think off, huge odds would take huge exchange.

Every time you bet with bookies you’ll lose value… if you could guarantee losing you would be a millionaire on the exchange in no time.

How about doing some bets at 2.0 trying to hit the loser? If it wins just double up… not sure really could end up in a worse place.

Theres nothing you can do with it -except ‘gamble’ it and your exchange odds/risk at the same odds as any random ‘bet’ would have of actually winning and leaving you with the same odds/losses as any normal exchange odds losses ‘bet’ would carry
Its done- the excess over the maximum freebet (250) you have ‘made’ is worth Zero. Any future ‘bets’ will just incur same risk as random bets would and give you addiotional commisions exchange payments on top.

Dont do what Tony suggested- which is just the same as the old roulette ‘classic’ of doubleing up on red/black one comes in and you have made your stake…or until you go completly broke and cant put in another double up a bet when the laws of equal chance/odds go in the wrong direction for your ‘plan’

Yea probably shouldn’t have suggested such a gamble solution. Reserve margtingale, wonder if anyone’s every thought of that…

Nobody ever should think about Martingale/Doubling up systems in anyway- or go and discuss them on a Casino/Gambling thread and ultimatley a trip to Gamblers Anoynumus somewhere down the murky road.

Just for the record I wouldnt buy that posistion the poster is in (ie his extra $280 on top of his max payout) for $1

I remember a very similar post on here before trying to get someone to ‘help’ in the same situation.

I would never condone gambling, this site isn’t for that talk apologise.

I know that Tony- your complete opposite of a Gambler- a calculated arb assasin- Just making it clear to the poster that his excess FB posistion had no value- and no amount of playing around with it will change that zero value posistion.
