    Real Madrid/Real Madrid is 4.33/5 for a £2.96 loss.

If you want to make it risk free then just lay the draw for £3.02 although this will reduce your profit to around £10 in the event the game is drawn. I’ll just take the £2.96 loss and hope for the draw.

You can quite easily make it risk-free by backing and laying a correct score which isn’t a draw, e.g 1-0. Whatever your qualifying loss is from that, lay that amount on the draw (taking into account commission).

That way, if your correct score bet wins, your lay on the draw will also win, cancelling out the qualifying loss. The same thing happens if your correct score doesn’t win but the match doesn’t end in a draw. And if the match does finish in a draw, you’ll pay out a bit on the draw lay which lost, but receive the free bet which you can extract profit from.

So that’s the risk-free way to do it – I guess to guarantee profit you’d lay more on the draw than just your qualifying loss, so you end up forking out a bit more if you win the free bet, but if you don’t win the free bet you’ll win more from your lay bet.

EDIT: Got beaten to it with a much more succint reply haha

Just did the maths – to guarantee a profit using the odds given by Chris above you’d lay £4.40 on the draw (more than just the qualifying loss+commission of £3.02).

The problem is, this only guarantees a profit of £1.35. Hardly worth doing, probably best to just play it risk-free using the amount of £3.02 as Chris says – and either win a tenner, or nothing.
