I’ve recently moved house. I’ve not yet updated my address on any accounts but I did withdraw a large amouny from one bookies a few days ago and they asks for ID including a utility bill less than 3 months old. Luckily I still had this but by febuary I will no longer have access to “recent” utility bills for my old address.
I was hoping to not have to update my address on most of my accounts so the my partner can sign up to them and get the new customer offers but I don’t want to risk getting into a situation where I can’t withdraw because I don’t have recent ID for the old address.
I could just update the address on all sites but I assume a lot of site will not allow a new account for my partner from teh same address as an existing account.
Anyone got experience with this? What’s the generally accepted best practice here?
