New Will Hill ACCA Five offer
-
As you prob have seen Will Hill have changed their football ACCA insurance offer from sixfold, any odds, any league to fivefold but on any sport with min odds 1.2.
Just a heads up that in the next few days there are a few v. low odds Spanish games in the Copa del Rey which is one of the leagues/cups that there are no minimum odds on in the new offer. e.g. Atl Madrid/Sevilla/Barcelona/(Bilbao/Villarreal). Happy Christmas. :-)+0December 20, 2016 at 12:00 am

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I did this on Saturday with the English leagues, one on match result and another on BTTS. I placed £5 on each, didn’t match bet either and won £61 on match result and lost £5 on BTTS, quite happy with £56 profit.
The sunbets boosts on accas are pretty good for a £1 or £2 punts, won £15 tonight with odds of 15.0, last Thursday won 3 accas with them and another £37 in profit from £1 and £2 punts, odds over 10.0.
+0Thanks, hadn’t spotted that.
Also worth a shout on Fred who don’t have minimum odds too+0Some exemptions from minimum odds.

If that’s your bag then that’s fine, but really I think those discussions should be in another area of the forum.
But yes – this offer is now much better for use with the sequential lay lock in method.
+0@bobster I think quite a few people use a strategy of match betting and having small punts. I had the email offer from BetBright and Ladbrokes yesterday for free bets, I match betted them, I also match betted the WH BTTS offer. On top of that I did 3 sunbets acca boosts offers, £1 x 3, lost 2 and won 1, £3 gambled and £15 returned.
I don’t see any point in match betting sunbets acca boosts, the returns are higher for £1 and £2 punts. Even acca insurance 5 folds if you pick odds between 1.2 and 1.7, you should hit 1 out of 4 at least and that will be bigger returns on £5 punts than match betting them.
+0Well yeah I mean obviously not all offers/boosts are good for laying, in which case some people may choose to gamble on them. But I think perhaps when people talk about this they should just make it very clear this is what they are doing, and it isn’t some super clever strategy to make big sums – might confuse some newbies and they end up losing hundreds on just punting accas!
+0Also, if you pick games that qualify for Hills bet club you get a £5 FB regardless of the outcome ?

Had a play with this 4 ways.
First leg losing nicely this minute for a low ql then 4 odds on shots for a freebet
The acca club offer finishing Christmas day to sequentially lay
Another finishing boxing day to sequentially lay
Last one a low odds punt finishing with Liverpool….. and to reply to the above its not a pure gamble as the insurance and ability to extract the freebet provide the value. All acca insurances have some risk+0The most I would punt on an acca is £5, but last Saturday was the first time that I’ve done them, apart from the sunbets boosts on accas and they have only been in the last two weeks.
I made a major error 09/12/2016 and laid the wrong horse, both started with a P, both had odds of 13.0 and where next to each other on Smarkets. Luckily I had a another free bet with Fred, but £20 instead of £25 and backed the correct horse. The damn horse won and I lost £97, could have been £277!
So I’m trying some different things like accas and acca boosts as well as the match betting offers, so far the mix of the two has yielded £335 since 10/10/2016.
+0I think it depends on the value when punting accas. I don’t tend to punt them just due to the free bets as the value is FACTUALLY in trying to extract the free bet and not win the acca isn’t it. So in a way all 5 legs winning is a bad result! Overall it probably evens itself out but I’d rather lose £10 a week matching accas and win £50 free bet every 2 weeks than lose hundreds one week and win the same the next
One thing I do think is worth the punt (if you feel comfortabel with the loss!) are boosted footi accas like the ones on sunbets and betmclean. I FACTUALLY calculate the true odds looking at the exchange prices and if they are much lower am happy to have a £25 flutter on it. The way i see it here is if the acca is 4/1 but the true odds are actually 3/1, the law-of-averages says every 5 accas I’ll be £25 up. Do try add a bit of local knowledge in too at times
+0I’m only punting £1, £2 or £5 on accas, just done two on WH for bundesliga and copa del rey. £5 deposit and I doubled it on the baubles/roulette, so potential to win £93.55 or lose £5.
+0That’s a myth you need to hit the freebet to get the value. The freebet provides the value. On a straight forward sequential lay if the first 4 win you should be able to underlay so guaranteed profit regardless of 5th result
And punting short odds you should aim to be on a position where you mostly win, but if not you’re normally exposed to 20% of stake loss…. so long term profitableIt really is an area to start lower stakes though, and I wouldn’t say I’m the definitive expert on these!
+0On a sequential lay with lowest odds I often get the FB almost wiped out or worse with odds moving against me on each leg – yet still win the friggin’ acca. As you say, you want to lose the first leg to get the FB.
+0I’ll go through my notepad and see how many I’ve done on sunbets, skybet and wh, work out the win/lose ratio and profit/loss.
I do like matched betting, but I was in Bangkok for 10 weeks until 29th December. The time difference of 6 then 7 hours was too much to be sitting in front of a laptop from 10pm until 3am to match up odds, better things to do like drinking cheap beer and chatting up Thai girls.
My strategy is mainly to see if its possible make more money on accas and matched betting in the UK, just accas when in Southeast Asia.
+0Only if you choose that order sleepless. And if you win a higher odds first leg then you carry big bets through the rest of the lays leaving you more exposed to odds changes
