Options once you're gubbed
-
I have hardly any accounts left now that I’m not gubbed from offers or restricted on now.
What are the options to keep making money?
I opened accounts in my Mums name a year or so ago, and apart from PP they haven’t been used since I rinsed the sign-up offers – but neither she or I want a load of money going in and out of her bank account and having to transfer it to/from mine. Is PayPal an option here? ie can I create a PayPal account in her name/email/address but fund it from my bank card?
If not, what other options do I have?

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Get a job/if you already have a job do some overtime.
+0you can’t add a different person’s bank account to paypal, it has to be in the name of the person using it. but you could open a skrill account. Seeing as you’ve already opened the accounts you should be ok funding them, but make sure in the T+Cs some bookies are even cracking down on ANY funds provided by money wallets not qualifying for ongoing bonuses.
Arbing , E/W arbing and price boosts for the gubbed accounts, restricted accounts are useless.
HTH+0“Arbing , E/W arbing and price boosts for the gubbed accounts, restricted accounts are useless” LOLLIPOP I’ve made fousands this year but you must be right yeh?!
beast heres some real advice. Arbing on restricted accounts is defo possible and remember the extra place races are the same even if u are restricted so take advantage of these. Keep ticking over on the sites u do have accounts on. In store offers etc if you find time
With regards to your mums accounts would an option be a new bank account in your mums name that you transfer say £1000 into. Then you just use it as if it was yours and she doesnt ever have to worry about it? Just an idea this as ive never (or not yet!) done similar as im earning loads anyway!

how is this different from what I said? E/W arbing on extra places is still E/W arbing. and I have seen a few bookies ban punters from extra places anyway.
Good idea about the new bank account though, you would only need a nationwide or co-op basic account, just something with a debit card.
+0Ok I actually may have to apologise i think I misread and you were saying arbing from gubbed and restricted accounts was useless! With you now tho!
I think they would really struggle to not pay out extra places as most dont even appear as a promotion its simply the each way terms u see when placing the bet. So to then tell punters they were in fact promo terms and said punter should have known seems tricky dicky!
+0Can you set up an interest paying joint account – Tesco.( I know, I know).

Thanks guys. I’ll see if my Mum is willing to open a new bank account, but otherwise I can try the arbing and each way arbing. Not sure how that works though, up to now Ive just taken advantage of free bets, or occasional price boosts.
Any tips?
+0you’re forgiven matchie, I’ve made thousands from gubbed too, in fact I do most of my betting from gubbed accounts. its restricted that are useless.
There are definitely a couple I have seen on other forums that flat out say that extra places are out if you are gubbed, and beesty had trouble the other day because 365 changed the market when there was a non-runner, they shifted it to their “enhanced” market with worse odds but left those bets already staked stuck with the 3 places instead of 4. I know its usual to do that in a race with non-runners, but to have a special market all set up and ready to go implies the bookies are definitely wising up to our tricks.
+0Excellent E/W arbing thread here (or “the gospel” as we call it lol)

(its so good I managed to post it twice!)
+0Blimey Matchedem…..is that some humility you’ve just shown?!!! Are you feeling ok ?
+0What I find weird with the extra place offers in particular as the value is actually not in the bookie itself and more the tasty place prices on smarkets
So I mean if we simply backed every horse on say Sky Bet we wouldn’t be up would be just because of the extra place, in fact probably quite a bit down. Its actually more about picking out the horses with better each way chances. Get they are a business though, so even if they are making 10% profit they will be finding ways to make it 12 FACT!
+0Set a PayPal account up in your mum’s name and link it to her existing bank account.
Then YOU send her money on PayPal (by ‘friends and family’ so no fees) and away you go.
That’s what I do with my sequel accounts and it’s works just fine. Not all bookies will take PayPal, but most will. Just check that you have met the net withdrawals amounts on “her” bookie accounts so that you are free to deposit and withdraw to each bookie via PayPal.
Depending on volume, PayPal will eventually insist that “she” ID verifies her account but that should be easy if you have her permission to do all of this.
