Paddy Man City & Athletic Double

  • Paddy’s usual Power Boost:

Boosted to 5.5 lay is 4.9 underlay for potential £7.90.

Goes without saying lay on Betfair at your own risk.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

LJH just make sure you do the Betstars Draw offer…Betfair double odds on correct score, that’ll bring some nice potential profit for tonight!

    Thanks for the reminder!
Just signed up to betstars. Is there any way to convert the currency from USD to GBP? Or do I just have to work it out myself…

    Don’t worry, got it.
It’s really bloody annoying that they credited me with dollars when I am clearly playing from England and deposited with £s. After the conversion they took £0.75 out of my balance… just wow

    You can switch currency somewhere.
In the wallet or cashier section. Set your default to GBP.

If you are betting in dollars then $25 is the max refund.

This is the response I got from their customer services when I asked last year…

“If you would like to set your preferred currency for betting, simply choose the appropriate currency tab in the cashier, and click the ‘Set GBP as preferred currency’ link in the ‘Account Status’ area of the cashier.

For example, to change your preferred currency to GBP, click on the ‘GBP’ tab of the cashier, then click ‘Set GBP as preferred currency’.

Your Preferred Currency will be shown first in the cashier and will be your default currency.

If you do not have your preferred currency tab in your account, you can use the ‘Cashier’ > ‘Add Currency’ menu option in the main PokerStars lobby to add a second/third/fourth currency to your PokerStars account. Please note that every PokerStars player has the ability to deposit, cash out, and play with funds in the US Dollar (USD). Players can also optionally keep money in Euro (EUR), Canadian Dollars (CAD) and British Pounds (GBP).

You may change your Preferred Currency at any time by selecting another currency tab and clicking the ‘Set as preferred currency’ link in the cashier.

You can find additional information about ‘Multi-Currency’ features on our web pages: ‘Real Money’ tab > ‘Multi Currency’.”

Thanks Coco, I found it after a quick search of the forum.

Not that 75p is a big deal, but they really should prompt you to set a default currency when signing up or before doing the first deposit. This is just a dodgy practise.

Anyway, better milk the crap out of them tonight ;)
