Paddy Power Free Correct Score

  • Hi,

Paddy Power do 2 free bet offers each week. However, you have to bet on the correct score. The problem is the odds are vastly different between Paddy Power and the lay odds on an exchange. So you lose around 25% just to qualify for the free bet. Does anyone else have this problem or have a solution?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

They’re not 25% losses, you can usually get £10 on something for a £1.09 qualifying loss minimum, they’re usually about 2 points lower in the correct score markets, if Smarkets is 11.00, Paddy will be no better than 9.00.

You get closer matches on the first goalscorer markets usually, and anytime goalscorer, for example i got Aubemayang in the Arsenal Vs Chelsea game for first goalscorer at 7/7.2.

Another option is to just put it on a whatoddspaddy and hope for the best, like this Liverpool Vs Brighton game coming up, Liverpool can be laid at 1.2, so you can in essence have a free shot at one of the whatodds markets, getting a £10 bet for about £3.

    It’s all personal preference.

Yep sometimes you can a good enough correct score with about 1/2pt-1 pt loss- which is more than ample if its a good on odds shot– but as dan says The 1st scorer/anytime markets can often be a little tighter. But a bet/lay at say 5-1/7.0 is pretty much the same as evens/6/5
In Ireland its £20 per shop x 2 games a week- so certainly a nice bonus.

You could lay back your losses on the event you want to happen….i.e it should be easy this weekend to lay Liverpool outright

You cant lay on just Liverpool.

^^^ You can when the odds are so low, like today, I’ve just punted the £10 bet on a whatoddspaddy, to win £100.

If Liverpool win i get a £10 free bet, retaining about £8
If Liverpool lose, I’ve laid £8.50 at 1.18 with £1.50 liability.

So I’m getting a £10 bet for around £2 or so

A typical qualifying loss for this offer is around £1 so in this instance I’d say it’s the best strategy.

Good stratergy Dan with such a big odds on shot like this Liverpool at 1/7 or so.
Ive got various correct score bets on that were around a pt off like 3-0 at 7/8.0.
I will prob let them run and lay Liverpool- shots at a good payout for a small % loss if none of the scores/GS bets come in.
