Paddypower

  • Hi guys,
Having a bit of trouble with my PP account and would like to know what everyones advice would be.
Basically Sunday afternoon I try to log into my betfair account I get the following message : “WE have identified a potential third party
access to your account so we’ve temporarily locked your account”. After contacting betfair via live chat my account was unlocked after
asking me to change my email and password.
I thought this was the end of it but checking my emails that evening I get same email from Paddypower ,I realise thyre owned by same company
so went to live chat and went through same procedure (changing email and password) but once I logged back in I realise that its a new account
with balance showing 0 and no history of old bets it was basically a brand new account, when I enquired about this they told me I made a bet last
night for £137 which was my entire balance on some italian game and the bet lost. I explained that I never made that bet and that I want my money
    back,.
Now theyre saying our team will get back to you within 3 days I ve been on live chat about 5 times without gain. Ive got a feeling my funds are gone.
If anyone had similar situation with PP or any other BM
    any advice would be appreciated.

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I had a similar issue in that Paddy Power contacted me to say that my account had potentially been accessed by a 3rd party and was therefore locked.

They insisted that I created a new account and disable login by email on that account. If I chose to unlock the existing account they said they could shut down the account and confiscate any funds within it at any time they suspected unauthorised access again and that there would be no right to appeal.

They then refused to forward on the transaction history of the old account until I kicked up a fuss about it and didn’t transfer the funds from the old account until I’d been on live chat twice to follow it up.

I’d suggest keeping transcripts of any live chats. Perhaps you could try Resolver, I’ve generally been successful using it to resolve complaints, although I’ve never tried with any gambling companies:

    Thanks for the reply Parade99,
I ll definitely try the resolver if I dont get any reply in the next couple of days
Live chat are not helping at all saying that cos its dealt by security team they cant
discuss it on the chat and I have to wait for an email from them.
The funny thing is after being gubbed for so long I started getting freebets from paddypower
    which in itself very strange.
Thanks again for the reply and suggestions
