Price Boost Lays

  • Hi all

So as I have done most of the sign up offers, I thought I’d have a look at price boosts.

The problem I seem to be having is that over the past few weeks, any price boosts I find on betting sites come to generally the same odds as the exchange. I have looked at Betfair, Smarkets and Betdaq, and because the odds are generally higher on the exchange, this then completely cancels out the boost price.

I don’t know how to lay the complicated ones so it is generally the easier ones I look at, the latest one today being for the Luton game, and sky sports had a boost from 9.5 to 11, and all the exchanges had lay prices of 11.5.

I am obviously looking at the wrong thing, so perhaps someone can explain what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks
    Hamish

    Hi Hamish,

Not all price boosts have value. If the boosted back odds are no higher than the lay odds, it’s likely the case that the back odds were poor to start with or the boost was only slight.

You can find more information about them in my ‘Price Boosts‘ guide.

If you’re looking to progress beyond the sign up offers, I recommend looking at the Reload Offer Calendar for daily opportunities available to existing customers. Level 6 of my Matched Betting Academy will help you transition to reload offers.

    I hope that helps.
