Restricted from BetBright for no reason

  • I just received an email from BetBright telling me my account has been restricted. I haven’t touched the account since I used their sign up offer in November, so obviously they aren’t particularly important to me any way, so now they are restricting me based on inactivity? How is that going to help entice customers back?! Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know of any other bookies that restrict accounts for inactivity?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

All the bookies seem to be having a New Year purge – don’t take it personally 🙂

Gman, that’s crazy – what bets had you been doing with them recently?

Hmmm, that is *particularly* unlucky @Gman – conspiracy theorists might suggest that the bookies have maybe joined forces to ‘compare notes’?

I read elsewhere (with some scepticism I might add) that Paddy is merely trying to lure us all in with the return of his Bet 20 Get 10 offer that is back on this weekend, only to beat any takers with the gubbing stick! :s

@STC – doing betways ch4 racing offer the last few weeks but also a few mug bets, with them I think the problem was big wins from the free bets, won about 250 in 2 weeks. Quite gutted about betway, one of the better smaller bookies. Coral and betbright are no loss tbh, Im just pannicking now every time i check my emails lol. Just waiting for betsafe next or netbet.
Yeah Tony Im thinking the same thing about them being able to share info even tho if would breach dpa, its obviously been a new year resolution of theirs to clamp down .

Yes – got the boot from Betbright and Betway today. Already off the Coral list but I don’t rate them anyway. I’ve a good ante post pending with them for Cheltenham – whether I lay it off for a good profit nearer March or let it run and give them a good pasting hopefully we shall see.

Me to. That’s two in two days. I’ve not used betbright for 2 months and made a profit of £17 from free bets including three freebets.

No complaints: I made a profit from my dealings with them (more than the £17 obviously) and they informed me before I laid out more money on them.

I just did the bet £10 get £10 in-play on Coral for the Premiere League games then when the game started I still had not received my free bet- so I live chatted some guy who said my account had been restricted.

SO, I called the telephone number for customer service and another guy said that I had been put on ‘temporary restriction’ in December (I’m guessing for inactivity?) but he gave me the free bet anyway and said everything should be fine. Never got a message or email or anything though. Very weird.
