Royal Ascot Day 1 Tuesday 14th June

Six races all on Channel four.

Sky doing MBS for second or third on the first race, BF and Bet 365 doing their usual 3/1 and 4/1 offers.

Have heard that Ascot festival can be more profitable than Cheltenham, but I wasn’t match betting this time last year so have no personal experience of this, if anyone was please provide some feedback.

The extra places offers seem to be the way forward, by what I have read on other forums.

I think with the Euros taking a lot of the bookies focus at the moment then the offers for Ascot may be few and far between.

Currently a 2.5 favourite on betfair so can lock up a profit by back and laying a close match then an additional lay on The Gurkha

Sky paying 5 instead of 3 places on the 15:05 and 15:40 but only 1/5 odds.

William Hill paying 4 places on the 15:40.

Just saw the ladbrokes offer for the Gurkha at 4.20. When I click to do the offer it, says it doesn’t exist. Guess I’ve been gubbed?
