SBK bet

  • Hi guys. Do any of you know if SBK betting is owned by Smarkets? They have an offer of sign up get £40 in free bets. If they are linked would i be better off using Betfair as my exchange 🤔.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Yes, SBK is owned and operated by Smarkets. It’s essentially Smarkets’ front-end sportsbook app and pulls its odds directly from the Smarkets exchange.

Because they are linked, laying your SBK bets on Smarkets does carry a slightly higher risk of your accounts being cross-referenced, which could lead to your SBK account being restricted (gubbed) faster.

To be safe, it’s best practice to lay your SBK bets on Betfair or Matchbook to keep the back and lay data completely separate.
