(69) SKY SPORTS BOXING- WHYTE V POVETKIN- Fight to go the distance? NO 17/20 (BETWAY)
Have mulled this one over in my head all week trying to see if it can go the distance and I just can’t see it myself and believe 17/20 is a very good price that it will end early. Actually have been very tempted to back/nap Povetkin- but now that best price has dipped on him from 7-2 to 10/3 I’m going to shy away from that and stick to the simple ko/stoppage by someone inside the 12 rounds, as I see it being an in the pocket shoot out by 2 bangers- with Povetkin (big hitter) in the last chance saloon of his long and successful career- If Povetkin wins he will be in line for another crack at the world title so he won’t want be looking to leave it in the judge’s hands (some of whom may have already received a brown envelope from Whytes promoter Eddie Hearn) Also Povetkin for once won’t be fighting a far taller opponent which will suit him. Whyte, who I see as overrated- does have a big heart and very good stamina and also possesses a similar sledgehammer of a left hook as Povetkin..One of those left hooks is gonna be the decider.It could be Povetkin sparking out Whyte in the 1st first 6 rounds or vica versa in the latter rounds as Whytes superior stamina comes into play..All in all, would be a big surprise to see this ‘go the distance’ 4/5*

Solid value all round on the naps today with a lot of em shortening quite a bit by the off..Only Verdana Blue making the frame though…Will see how the boxing goes…Pretty happy I got the read on Zak Chelli 10/11 now best priced 8/11…which is closer to what he should be..about a 20% value scalp on the price there- which is nicely above the value scalp average target on my sports bets of around +10%

Just been stiched up by the judges on Zak Chelli fight,,, They called it a draw…shocking!…Chelli went under 1/10 on in play in the last round….Bent/useless judges and corrupt/greedy organisations are killing the sport..No wonder people are leaving it to watch MMA these days..Gutted..when exactly to plan and I’ve done my dough…
