Sick of being gubbed.

  • Been done off coral which I’d gone too crazy on the aussie open. Then betway the only one where I wasnt extracting cash out of the free bets. And was doing accas every week.

Now been done in under 2 days by black type and this morning moplay.

If I lose paddy and William hill then it’s as good as over. Without opening all the smaller ones. I’ve been doing normal betting with hills as well but nothing seems to stop u getting done eventually.

If I changed the address on a bank account to my partners house could I reopen the accounts (no betting accounts currently open there)

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Ps. Has anyone ever been unrestricted from any account. I have stopped placing bets with every bookmaker who does this to me

I have been ungubbed but it’s extremely rare and probably an error

Hazard of the trade I’m afraid, adapt and move on- this forum has loads of info if you read back where u should be able to make decent money a month even after losing paddy and hills

Only one I’ve ever been ungubbed from was Coral, and they didn’t restrict me for matched betting, it’s because I took a huge arb when I first opened the account years ago, so I guess the trading team gave me another chance…

I have been gubbed by a fair few, but then again, I have managed to open a new account with most of them with a new bank account and different photo ID, it helps my name is different in them, though.

I haven’t managed it with Skybet or boylesports, they twigged on straight away.

Its pretty simple to just use someone else’s accounts, find someone in your family/close friends who doesn’t mind, parents are great for this, as you’ll likely live at a separate address and that generation of people generally don’t have 50 bookies accounts 😉

Trying to stay positive, Coral gubbed me today, now that makes 4 with Moplay, Paddy Power and Unibet (I was gubbed with Unibet as soon as my ID was verified, makes me wonder if I should expect a call from Interpol too)….

Anywho, trying to stay positive I decided to use my gubbed accounts for arbitrage bets, each ways and possibly dutching too.

So far it seems to work, however Moplay restricted my stakes to £1 so I tend to use Moplay for spins. Its possible Coral have restricted my stakes too, yet to discover.

In conclusion, would my approach be a smart move or not? I am of the mind that it is, but I am new here.

Once you’ve had an account excluded from promotions, you just need to try and squeeze as much profit out of the account as you can.

Even when gubbed, you should still be eligible for extra place offers and there’s each way arbing to take a look at too.

Been done off mansionbet no loss i told them to close my account. Sky bet recently and genting this week.

Never thought about the arbing or each way/extra places. It was the arbing on sky bet what did for me i think.

If i changed address on my bank and set a new bank card up could i reopen. Not sure what id ive used tho.

Was wondering, do you guys know whether regularly doing William Hill 2nd place offer on Horse Racing puts you at risk of getting gubbed?

Has anyone had experience of this? I feel like William Hill offers the best out of all the bookies and I don’t wan’t to risk losing them

Bazza, the William Hill money back 2nd offer is pure gub bait, not worth risking the account IMO for the odd £10 free bet.

I had an account for almost 3 years that got gubbed after just 3 bets from the offer, and I know of others.

Oh dear Johnbo, I’ve been doing a lot of it the past few days in my spare time. What’s the best way the save my account now?

Just lay off doing them, maybe do a few similar bets on a meeting without the offer etc.

The offer itself is gub bait because it’s just so obvious as to what you would be doing, especially if you use your bet boosts to get good matches!

Cheers for the advice, I’ll start doing that.

Another way they look at gubbing you is from their survey forms..eg.fill this in and get entered into a draw for £50…..they always ask who you have accounts with..I just ignore and delete…..I must admit i lost a couple of accounts before I stopped doing them.

I am a bit wary of doing the 2nd place money back as cash offer, i only do it for the ITV races, i think if you went after it every day of the week you’d be gubbed quickly.

I also try to throw in a few bets on other races going on around the country, you can sometimes get a nice hit with BOG.
