  • Hi all,

I’ve just joined Ladbrokes and Betfair. I’m looking at joining Coral and Paddy Power next, but just wondering if joining them in close succession may cause an issue as Ladbrokes/Coral and Betfair/Paddy Power have relationships?

I don’t want to get gubbed before I’ve even started properly!

Anybody any thoughts or am I just being overly paranoid?

    Thanks.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Just make sure you use different email addresses. Everyone gubs you eventually but that might slow them down a bit.
Also try not to lay Paddy bets off on Betfair.

    Thanks both,

Yes, I’ll be sure not to lay Paddy bets off on Betfair. In fact, I’m not touching Betfair exchange for the time being so Paddy can’t see what I’m up to in general…

    @deathstar
, do you think using different email addresses is useful then? I think it might look more dodgy having the same name, address, bank card etc. with a _different_ email address, but perhaps I’m over-thinking all of this!!!!

    Cheers.

to be honest, who knows? bookies are a rule unto themselves.
I am sure paddy looked through the betfair database the minute they merged though as many people got gubbed as soon as the ink was dry.

I also remember reading somewhere when I was starting up that the seaniemac/boylesport/apollobet group had a shared DB and would reject an new account with an email they had on file.

Good shout with betfair by the way, they do loads of good offers so take advantage of them until you get gubbed.

Thanks – only one way to find out!

Like you say, I will get gubbed eventually, just trying to prolong it!

    Thanks again…
