Signing up using Paypal

  • Has anyone signed up to the bookies that don’t allow skrill deposits for the sign up bonus (laddies, fred etc) using paypal, and still get the SUB? Can’t find any specific exclusion in the T+Cs
I find it strange that bookies are clamping down on using e-wallets because of MBers but are ok with paypal.

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I use Paypal with a couple of sites – Ladbrokes definitely and I think Paddy Power and Betfred as well. Never had any issue with getting free bets / new joiner offers etc.

I always use PayPal wherever possible – much quicker withdrawals. Never had a problem accessing SUB using it either.

Some bookies simply don’t offer PayPal, but those that do who stipulate you can’t qualify for SUB using Skrill or Neteller are not a problem

Cheers Tony. I’ve only used my bank for signing up so I’d never even thought about til I found out that sky had taken the skrill option away completely and got curious.
As I said, i’m surprised bookies haven’t looked at this option, you’d think all the netmums newbies would be more likely to have a paypal account then a skrill account.

Iv singed up for a few betting sites and then tried to use paypal to deposit but it keeps asking me to use a card via paypal instead of just letting you use the money already in the paypal account. Is this normal or some kind of security feature to force you to use a card as a paypal account could be false? I find it really annoying as I have money in the paypal account already and don’t want to add a card.

    Anybody else experienced this?

I’ve used Paypal for three sites recently.

Sky and Boyle accepted it via normal means but I’ve previously used a credit card to deposit so Paypal wasn’t my first deposit but instead a change of method.

Bwin accepted Paypal but only via the credit card method you mentioned. In this case it was a new account and the first deposit I had made with them.

I have no idea if that’s relevant but might be worth mentioning in case that’s a pattern that other people have had?
