Hydro it’s unlikely getting a big win off the initial free spin as they’re usually 1p per line. The times I’ve won have been on say risk free £5 where you can bet £1 or more a spin. Last week for example I got some free spins on BGO on a new game they had. After completing rollover requirements I had just over a fiver so I did a £2 spin on starburst and won £175 then £9 on first two spins. Spin two losers so came off with £180 profit. Doesn’t happen often but it does happen.

It took my deposit of £10 first of all and then it used the bonus of £10, managed to win £4.20. I couldn’t withdraw as under £5, so I stuck £4.20 on Andy Murray to win at 1.25, returns £5.25, might do an each way horse race on a favourite later on.
