Skrill frauds

  • Hi lads heres what happened. I live in Germany and my cousin lives in the UK. Im using his accounts to match bet through VPNs and everythings ok… until I lost a massive sum to the bookies and had to withdraw – did it with his card but as smarkets dont accept paypal (my source of deposits/withdrawals) i had to upload the funds in skrill so they go to smarkets (only accont on my name is the skrill one). He transfered the sum to my account from pound to euros and they took 60 DAMN EUROS in the process of exchanging!!!!! I was so so so mad I wrote an email pretending I didn’t process this transaction in order for them to restore the money in pounds and he withdraws them to his card because there was no way I’d lose 60 euros to these fraudulent bastards for a simple transaction! What happens next – I get my account restricted when trying to withdraw the funds back to his card!!!!!!!!!!!! I can’t send, can’t deposit to bet365 which was my idea to get the money off these horrible creatures – I wrote 3 emails in anger which contained abusive language and no one is responding and the funds which I rely on are stuck in their dirty hands!!!! What do I do!!!!!! P.S. Never EVER use these frauds – whatever the circumstances NEVER EVER USE THEM!!!!!!!!

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

So to be clear you reported a transaction as fraudulent, then reacted to the account being blocked by swearing at them?

It seems to me that they have acted entirely reasonably. You reported a suspicious transaction so they restrict the account to prevent it occurring again.

Unfortunately by having a go at them it will only make it harder for you to resolve this.

You should also be careful about accusing them of fraud. Glass houses and all that.

If you want my advice (but why should you) try to get less angry ( I just read your bwin post too, similar tone) . These companies, although sometimes incompetent, are rarely ever fraudulent, and will usually resolve most issues. They’re just protecting their interests and their customers, as they wouldn’t want to be accused of fraud.

Anyway, hope you get it resolved.

Aye, defrauding the bookmaker and laundering money often flags up tbh…

I think the best bet is for everyone to stop responding to this guy. Either it’s Matchedem/Johnson in disguise or he simply should not be attempting Matched betting in any form. The reasons are obvious.

    Ta, bye.

What’s your point in attacking me Im sharing my problem. Wouldnt have been such big mouths if you had £1100 stuck and lost %10 of that only because of exchange rates WHICH AREN’T UP TO DATE.

I’m sorry for your problem, I really am, but as it’s all of your own doing you won’t get much sympathy here. If it had been be me, I’d have written it off as experience. €60 isn’t that much in the grand scheme of things, and not worth lying to a financial institution about. Own your mistakes and learn from them. It will make you a better bettor.
