It’s not uncommon for a number of players to tie for the various runner-up spots. Dead heat rules apply in this situation which might confuse things slightly.
So, if four players tie for 5th spot (effectively taking up places 5,6,7 and 8), you would win your bet with Skybet but you may lose a quarter of your lay on the exchange, which works on 5 places.
I haven’t read up on the dead heat rules to fully understand how this would work and I’m sure it’s still beneficial overall, but just thought it worth flagging up at an early stage.
