It doesn’t quite work like though! 75 quid qualifying bet will make them money, and I’d assume that they’ve picked this game based on the fact it’s difficult to call. Southampton are favourites but its a home game for West Ham, who aren’t a bad side and could easily win it..

@jameslegg97 bookies don’t work like that mate, whether it makes them money or not they don’t seem to accept matched bettors as a liability… The point I’m making is if your usual stakes in a game aren’t £75 (most won’t bet anywhere near that much, some of course will) then out of the blue you’re punting £150 in total on this game it’s gonna flag!… Or why wouldn’t they just use the regular £25 that I’m sure most bet week in week out?

I’m sure a big bookie like skybet have all the information and tools they need already to identify and gub people without throwing a million quid out there.
it could be for many reasons, PR stunt or trying to get one up on bet365 (wouldn’t be surprised if a bet365 in play offer goes up tonight)
were all gonna be gubbed eventually anyway!

This isn’t the first time this offer has been on – it was on for the Swansea v Chelsea game but at that point I think it was email invite only and I was eligible for 50 but some other people I believe were offered 25 or 75.

I got gubbed 2 days after the above offer although what was strange was my email came from Sky Vegas (I played lot of slots and was probably down overall so thought that was strange) but ive lost everything regarding free bet club etc. I can put a small amount on the weekend acca offer (approx. £5) but that is about it. That was my email when gubbed a few months ago. The fact I can opt in means I will back and lay something during the game. Hope it loses then kick up a fuss if I do not get my £75 refunded.

+0Also for matchedem and others Who are in my boat had a little thought. I’m going to punt the draw when the game starts. Got my paddy bets on 6 with soton and 2 with West Ham. Logic is at half time if it’s not a draw I’ve got something to collect and if it’s a draw I can look to play it off a little bit.

My initial QL was £3 so might just hope for something less than £7 in play on an outside bet…assuming it doesn’t win I’m then either £10 down or £75 up if Sky pay up ha
