Got in a right mess here. Backed on sky, insufficient funds to lay it all, city game called off so no idea where I stand. Skybet cash out looks like they’re treating as a double so hope betfair do the same so I recover what I could lay

Notice Sky have already settled this as a loser but my lay bet on Betfair is still running. On checking their rules I see that if one leg of their accas is declared void they void the whole bet. Meaning if Man City had not been rescheduled for within 3 days I would have lost the back bet with no lay bet in place to cover it.

Something to bear in mind with these accas, maybe in the depths of winter when postponements are more likely?

Has the bet been settled as a loser because Arsenal didn’t win? The lay on Betfair can’t possibly lose, but could potentially have been voided.

Yeah, I’m guessing Sky have taken the view that it is now irrelevant whether the Man City game goes ahead within 3 days of the original fixture or not i.e. if it takes place the treble is a loser because Arsenal lost, if it doesn’t take place it reduces to a double and is still a loser.

Betfair’s rules, on the other hand, seem to indicate that the treble itself would be void if just one leg doesn’t take place, so they can’t settle until the Man City game is either played or postponed beyond 3 days.
