Smarkets Aintree Fourth Race Offer

  • Just got an email from smarkets offering 50% refund up to £10 on the fourth race each day at next weeks Aintree festival.

Doesnt sound like much I know but bets can be placed on the back and lay markets for both win and places so could be profitable if we hit some winning bets and lay off half of them.

Email invite only and requires opt in.

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

What is the best approach to this and can anyone give an example of how best to work this offer please.

Im thinking back a horse in the to win or place markets in the fourth race each day for £20 then overlay (or under if you catch a trade) £10.20.

If it wins, you win on £10 of the stake minus commission and any overlay loss, if it loses you get £20 back.

Cheers Chris – Any chance you could run through an example may be the time but can’t get my head around that one.

It’s net losses on the race (or at least my email is) so would need 2 different exchanges for the above. Although no issue if on 0% smarkets and matchbook

Back horse A for £20 at 7.0 at smarkets

Lay horse A for £10 at 7.2 at matchbook

    It wins you make £58
If it loses you win your £10 lay bet and also get a £10 refund

Ah damn, it is net losses, I skimmed over that.

In that case, I may just punt the bets on the place markets. I’m sure potentially being £30 down wont hurt overall profits by Saturday evening.

Think I’ll get sporting life up and try to have a proper go at picking the winner (unless they are short priced favourites)
Possibly the only time we get matched betting value without the exchange/book gaps driving what we go for.

Probably small fry to you guys but can’t you just bet £20 on a long priced winner for each day on the 4th race, lay it off on Matchbook or Betfair as usual and then good chance you’ll be £30 better off… less any QLs.

Of course EEJB that’s definitely one option to consider.

However, tomorrows race for example is a 9 runner race with a clear favourite, likely to be odds on so I’ll just be punting on the to place market given that chances of winning are relatively high.

Do you have to bet on the day?

If so are you ok betting just after midnight?

Did Prolitologue, laid half and netted £60 profit, nice bonus, did it early doors so missed bigger payout as it drifted to 12s, nice value bet though.
