I don’t think you could lay this, but the free bet definitely offers value.
Could back 3 heavy favs, say Germany, France and Brazil at 2.16. All 3 top their groups = happy days. One misses out then the free bet minimises losses.
Could pick two heavy favs and maybe a team from a more open group. Brazil, France and Uruguay at 2.93. Brazil, France and Senegal at 8.94.Obvious pitfall is that if two of your picks fail to win their group then you lose completely. So it’s not risk/gamble free, but on balance I think there is value in having a bit of a punt with this
