Spreadsheet / Tracking

  • Hi all,

Relatively new to MB, have been doing it since Cheltenham, and now made £150 profit. However, are there any good systems that you have of keeping track of everything?

I have got a spreadsheet going that had the date, balance, profit/loss, withdrawals and deposits. However, it does get very confusing looking at it, and having to transfer between lots of different accounts gets annoying. Especially if I have say £100 in Smarkets and £50 in BoyleSports, I would then need to take the £50 out of there and put it in bet365 or something, which obviously takes a few days through the bank.

Any advice on this sort of thing? Thanks folks

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

i just have a spreadsheet with all the names of the bookies, bank, exchanges etc and another marked “waiting” across the top, and dates down the side. then its just a case of filling in where your money is. obviously, once the withdrawal clears i update the values in “waiting” and “bank” or wherever.

I’ve put a few extra columns in mine so that i can see overall balance etc at a glance.
You’re best off making your own so that you are happy with it, doubt if you could make head or tail of mine, and i expect i wouldn’t be able to read anyone elses. As long as you can, its all good.

I use my own too but I hear a lot of ppl talk about one called dominator or something. I might have the name wrong but have a search of the forum because I know it’s been discussed before.

Yes if you search Ultimatcher in google you should be able to find it.

I think “dominator” is matchdem’s real name
