  • Didn’t qualify I know, but bad jokes aside thought I would share the approach I’ve been taking –

    been taking various value bets/arbs and using freebets where value on various teams. Not laid anything yet, assuming there will be more to come – then will look at my position at the start to see if I need to lay little bits or back anything else to reduce variance exposure

    I’m on 0% commission anyway, but across the number of bets it’s saving me a bit in the spread of each individual lay

    Did the same. A bit light on Germany and Spain but have most of the other main contenders covered. Best result at the moment I’m taking 600 if England win. Can’t believe I have to cheer for the English. I fancy Spain myself though I think they’ll do it. Or France I think are a good price.

    Did similar for CL and have a couple of free bets on Liverpool at long odds. Still debating if I’ll let it ride or equalize my return by laying a bit/backing Madrid a bit. I’ll wait to see what boosts there are on the day…. hoping every bookie boosts Madrid/Ronaldo but with the British interest I predict more boosts for liverpool/salah. Hopefully I’m wrong.

    I owe you more than a little credit for my position fog, certainly the advanced use of freebets and probably various other comments contributing into my thought process

    I’m at 800 on England but that’s way more than the others. Not that bothered about cheering England on and I’m English!

    ended up laying my only champ league bet in Bayern. Managed to get a hills boost on real so £20 if to help a little with compensation if Liverpool lose in 90 mins. Would doubled that it they’d let me have a boost today, odds trimmed now.

    blacktype arbing on Brazil, Germany and France should you wish to balance anything there
    offering me 250 to win which is about 10 times my horse limits!
