So I suppose the strategy here is to start the week and find close back and lay odds. Keep betting each night until you hit the overtime refund. The qualifying losses will keep adding up but getting the £20 refund should cancel that.
There is 3 weeks in this month so £60 in free bets to be had – valued at 80% extraction is £48. Subtract qualifying losses say 4 times £2 each week before you hit the refund. That leaves about £24 to be had here over the month – more if you get good lay matches and more again if you are lucky and get the refund each week on your first shot.
I suppose what remains to be established is how much profit you can extract from the free bet. It seems that it can be used on any market, but just mentioning because I have had trouble extracting profit from free bets on ice hockey, the matches are pretty tight and you dont get 5/1 or 6/1 teams which are more ideal odds for extracting profit.

FoG, the good news is: “Free Bet can be used on any Sportsbook market.”
Qualifying losses are so small it’s worth just back/laying (or dutching) every fixture imo. Remember the fixture can go to OT AND your qualifier can still win, so need some luck to get the freebet.
Matchbook better for liquidity long before KO.

I was just going to post that about OT.
Your qualifier has to be on “Money Line”. And that means you can’t guarantee a free bet if it goes to OT. So instead of 23% to 29% of a free bet it’s about half that because half the time there is OT your bet will win and no free bet.
So if I need 7 to 10 shots at this @ £1.30 each (based on QL on Tampa tonight) before I get a free bet… It’s still positive EV but on the line. Spending £13 to get £16..
I’ll probably do this more for fun than profit and since I have some teams backed on the outright I can bet against them now so that I win if they win and win if the lose and hopefully hit a couple of free bets in the process.
