Yes of course March was excellent upto Cheltenham.
The past month has been very quiet compared to what was out there before.+0
That’s inevitiable though, bookies ran all kinds of offers for Cheltenham and Aintree, they cant be expected to continue that on.
The point is we’re still making hundreds a month and this summer has two major events plus the tennis tournaments etc. The claim that because April is quieter, it means matched betting is dying is just stupid.

Gubbings are the major issue for me, lost WH, LB and Coral since Cheltenham / Aintree and had already lost Paddy

This is at least what was available in terms of matched betting opportunities this month this year compared to this month last year. It doesn’t show that matched betting is dying.
April 2016 – £458 (still a week and a half left)
April 2015 – £700 (skewed by big grand national win last year – £419 logged)patrick particularly mentioned Oct/Nov.
Oct 2015 – £556.19
Nov 2015 – £647.57Not completely overwhelming compared with what we had this month.
The offers are still there – it is whether or not you are barred from the offers or not – and everyone accepts that bookies will always and have always restricted winning customers. I think everyone accepts that the bookie’s wont let you away with taking their free money forever – so stop your complaining – you knew what you were getting into when you started!
And patrick please don’t derail the conversation by your claims that Matt’s profit log is fictitious. The point is that the offers are logged and were available. Instead of just repeating matched betting is dead – can you maybe back up your argument with numbers? Or facts? And not just the word fact, I mean actual facts like that Paddy Power INCREASE their budget for Money Back Offers year after year ….
+0I had accounts for many years and had not had any gubbings until last August.
Since then the gubbings have followed one by one.
Upto 12 months ago most of the big bookies turned a blind eye to matching as it was such a small part if the market. Those days have long gone.
How many of the offers can you still take up Fog,say, compared to this time last year.Reading your posts you have lost a lot of accounts.
Ladbrokes and Hills Channel 4 MBS have recently gone aswell.
Racebets are doing offers but gubbings appear quickly with them,

Matt’s log doesnt include MBS on the horses which for me and a lot of others was the main source of winnings last Oct/Nov.
Particularly with Paddy Power as they let you bet on more than one selection.

Those MBS have never been included on the blog apart from Skybet offers.

For instance one of the best opportunities was the MBS on channel 4 from Ladbrokes and Hills,
They ran for a long time but have recently disappeared.Skybet’s £5 friday night football offer gone aswell.
Evidence is all around you, Chris.

Regardless of whether Matched Betting is dying etc…why do you post on here Patrick? you only ever post negative comments? and i’m sure most will agree with me. Everyone enjoys this forum to communicate etc you just come on and put a downer on everything. I’d be surprised if any of your posts weren’t to do with Matched Betting dying or anything on that subject…seriously. I just don’t understand why you would take your time out to post on a forum when you go on about how we wrecked it for yourself and if we had all kept quiet seriously…..no wonder we clashed right away.

I have absolutely smashed it this month and am already 1200 up in April. All through matched betting alone. Is it dying? I bloody hope so …because if this is the bad times then roll on the good.
