Today's Sun Advent Calendar Worth Doing?

  • Hit blackjack twice and they give you £50 withdrawable cash…

I don’t play online blackjack so no idea if this is in any way a likely scenario…

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Probably not. Unless you can do 10p stakes or something and still qualify :)

The chance of two blackjacks in a row is approximately 0.2%, so you’d need to play about 450 hands of blackjack to be likely to hit two blackjacks in a row. At £5/hand that’s £2250, and if you play perfect blackjack strategy you’d expect to lose about 0.5% to the house edge, so you’d lose £11.25, netting a profit of £38.75.

Although I can just about remember perfect strategy, the variance can be brutal at times, and Live Casinos don’t have the quickest tables, so you’re probably looking at about 4 hours of blackjack to get through 450 hands. Not one for me.

There doesn’t seem to be a minimum stake, unless I’ve misread the T&Cs.

If you sit and play correct strategy you wouldn’t expect to lose too much having a crack at it.

However, the chance of being dealt blackjack twice in a row is somewhere around 0.23% so I doubt many people will be hitting the bonus tbh ;)

It’ll be a no for me too then. That 2 hours spent on the Monopoly was quite enough!

Hit it twice or twice in a row?
Their offers don’t show properly on my phone so it’s rare I can work out the exact terms between words printed over each other.

    Twice in a row, sorry.

    Thanks
I’d say no then given speed of live tables, often higher min stake on live tables and above stated probability
