Tote and Fred at it again with the Horse Offers

  • At Wolverhampton, Fred has beaten by a length, Tote has winner by 2 lengths or more.

    @Chris
    saw you mention something the other day about the likelihood of a horse winning by 2 lengths or more being very low – is that the case here and should prob just go for the beaten by a length?

    Betbright pretty much every day have the offer of free bet if 2nd by a length or less – is this the same? And how likely is this?

    Any minimum runners?

    Some decent odds on faves in longer race 1m+ races. So might be worth the 2l in these races.

    @handyman Betbright are offering this on jumps races that have far longer distances, making the likelihood of it happening far smaller than on shorter flat courses like Wolverhampton.

    @mb
    yeah I’ll prob just double up on the short priced favourites and stick with the fred offer for the rest.

    Nothing about min no of runners in the small print

    I think both offers are good today. Wolverhampton is flat and the races are reasonably short and quick so there will be a few winners that win by less than a length and likewise, a few that win by more than two.

    You’re an enabler Chris, every race it is!

    And of course the odds changed on me when I was backing on Tote so I just had the Fred one there… And it wins by 3 and a half!

    Thanks for picking this up
    Not done all the races but hit a couple so far on the 2 I did anyway

    I’ve hit 2 myself. But it appears to be a dark day – my bets on the last race were stake restricted to £13.30 at both Fred & Tote… I’m expecting that’s it from now on?

    I had a low restriction on a boost a couple weeks ago but been OK since
    There were also a few with restrictions the one night on the dogs who seem to have come out OK, may just been bad timing on short priced favourite. Let’s hope anyway!

    Fingers crossed, that makes me feel a little better! The price has come down on it a good bit so hopefully that’s it!

    Ah, got the dreaded emails from both of them. Really sad to see these ones go, had been very profitable the last few weeks.

    Bang!… Fred’s gone!… 5 minutes before the favourite in the last lost by a neck aswell!!!… it’s a sad, sad day

    Didn’t get one from Tote mind but can I assume it’s for both?

    Tony, I’m absolutely bereft about the loss. I only checked my email after the last race but yeah, got one each from Fred and Tote about 20 mins apart before it.

    They lured us all in with a load of offers the last week or two and now they’ve done a cull.
