Tote and Fred at it again with the Horse Offers

  • At Wolverhampton, Fred has beaten by a length, Tote has winner by 2 lengths or more.

    @Chris
saw you mention something the other day about the likelihood of a horse winning by 2 lengths or more being very low – is that the case here and should prob just go for the beaten by a length?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

My guess is betting on the same horse at Fred and Tote probably flagged you as a matched bettor pretty quickly!

    True Neil.
I’ve found gubbings give a great hindsight to ones greed! Other offers I’ve tried to mix up the horses a bit more but this offer just makes matched betting sense to hit the favourite on both
Touch wood I’ve avoided this one

Found it particularly strange how I was credited my two free bets instantly before the gubbing email?… obviously I’d already qualified for them but makes it look pre meditated that a gubbing was afoot

Yep me too. Lost Betfred so far, expecting Tote as well although it hasn’t happened yet.

I have some free bets still to use at Tote. Am I safe to lay those off? Can I assume that they will pay out on those, gubbed or not? Also should I use the Tote freebies straight away or wait until tomorrow to use them on horse races? Can they stake restrict me so that the bets can’t be used?

Good questions… I’m sure Chris mentioned he was stake restricted with Fred’s but it was still £25?

Got both emails today, and also stake restriction on the free bets to £100 max return. Had to split it on 3 footy matches.

Still waiting for a free bet from tote, which settled before the email arrived. Have emailed to ask for it.

What flags you as a match bettor? Probably putting 25 on every favourite at Wolverhampton and Dundalk over the last month. Boy they were good offers.

I’ve had the Fred FB credited but not the Tote one – the Tote one was on a race before the email so will def be chasing that tomorrow if need be.

And I thought it odd the FB was credited straight away, usually not until the next day with them. The golden handshake goodbye.

Who was it who tempted fate by asking ‘Do fred even gub’ the other day? Lol

Dark days fellas, I’m sorry for your losses.

I didnt do any of these today but have done the same bets on Fred and Tote simultaneously so I dont think its that. I even remember on one of the snooker offers asking live chat if there was an issue betting on the same player for the same offer at the two “different” bookies and they said no its absolutely fine.

Guess my account will be gone next time I hit a free bet or two.

And those of you worried about using your free bets with stake restrictions need not worry. Fred and Tote are rare in that they let you use the free bets in small chunks i.e £5 here, £5 there without forfeiting the remaining balance.

I can confirm I have no such restrictions on Tote… free bet placed @ 18.00

Not tried Fred’a yet!… quick one tho for the guys who got both emails… do you have the same username on both Fred’s and Tote?… just I haven’t that’s all (maybe clutching at straws)

I had expected it soon, I’ve had over £500 worth of FBs off the pair of them in the last month so at least I’ve got my value from them.

Revealing the matches betting success to my wife as a Christmas surprise so should be able to get some brand spanking new accounts on the go after that. She never changed her name so should be able to stay under the radar a bit better.

Im guessing get a VPN and a different billing address from my own?

Buy an iPad with 4G on the cheap and use that for the other accounts. Thats what I did and Bet365 new account offer pretty much paid for the iPad immediately.

Actually have a spare Sony Z1, can get a 4g sim for that, should do the trick! Excited to go back to the start – actually had accounts with most of the main bookies before I found matched betting so never got really got to supercharge the bankroll to begin with.

Sorry to hear of your loss fellas – a dark day indeed. Fred (and less so Tote) have been a real cash cow for me this last few months – I would miss them dearly if I lost them :(

To anyone else who had the fav in the last at Wolverhampton today – any sign of your free bet for it yet? Lost by a neck, right? It’s weird as I hit a refund with Fred on an earlier race in the day and got that free bet quite quickly (it’s normally always the next day), but no sign of the second one yet.
