Unibet sign up offer advise please

  • Confused with how to play some of the bonus sign up offers so advise would be appreciated…

The offer states £30 risk free bet as Bonus Money (min deposit £10+).

SO …… do I need to deposit the full £30 and try and lose it to the exchange so i get £30 in bonus money back and then try and lose the £30 bonus money in one or several bets…..

…… or can you deposit £10 to try and lose to the exchange and then wager your £10 bonus money and then will you then get another £10 bonus bet and repeat 3 times till you get and spend your 2 other £10 bonus bets or will you only be entitled to 1 x £10 bonus bet because you have only deposited £10.

I do understand if my bet wins (doesnt go to exchange) I need to wager 3 times the bonus amount to claim it as cash.

As much as I read all these bookies T and C’s I can not get my head around the best way to play it (or how much to deposit)

ALSO…I do understand my first bet on calculator will be a ‘qualifying bet’ but do I highlight the ‘risk free’ option on calculator when using my ‘bonus money or use ‘qualifying bet’ again ?

… sorry if it’s an easy answer staring me in the face 🙁

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

looks like its based on your first bet, so you would need to bet £30 straight off to get the full bonus. if you did £10 then £10 you would only get the first £10.

this is a pretty straightforward rollover compared to some of them, just deposit £30, bet through then bet the bonus cash.
You will need AT LEAST £90 (preferably more because you need to bet @ 1.4 odds, so more like £130ish) in the exchange, as well as the money to deposit on top, so make sure you can get through if you have to wager it all.

you just need to do all your bets (qualifying and bonus funds) with the “qualifying bet” settings. The secret to understanding which settings to use are to find out whether you get the stake money back or not. Seeing as this is bonus funds, they don’t take the stake away so you use the setting where the stake is included.

Have a look at the guide i wrote (ignore the bit about unibet, theyve clearly change it, or more likely, i was wrong! 🙂 )

Thanks again deathstar…. another pin point explanation for me leaving no grey areas.

To me, as with some ‘small type’ some of these bookmakers T and C’s can be open to misinterpretation.

Saying deposit £10+ get £30 bonus would be better to me if they broke it down a bit saying GET UP TO £30 in bonuses and explain if you deposit £10 you get £10 and deposit £20 get £20 etc…. as i am sure i have seen other bookies state you get your bonuses in stages. This is obviously a free matched bet to your total of your deposit.

Anyway…. thanks again….it is reassuring to know there’s help at hand for us newbies.

For your info…. i screwed up and did only deposit £10 before i asked but needed clarification as was confused 🙂 so ive missed out on a good bit of cash but lesson learnt and i move on…. did get my friend to ‘refer me’ in advance though so will bag half of the £40 he will get.

ONE DAY I WILL GET THERE……

If you haven’t made the bet yet you could probably deposit another £20 then bet it all to get the full bonus.
It does say “•If you lose your first bet we will refund your stake as bonus money, up to £30…” so it would imply its the BET not the DEPOSIT like some bookies.

Actually these T+Cs are pretty clear compared to some of them, but unless you can speak legalese (or sometimes Englishised chinese, which some of the smaller bookies use, along with dodgy instructions for TVs etc) everyone struggles to start with. its just a matter of getting through a few of them and you’ll see the same terms popping up.

And don’t forget, bookies like to keep things vague so they can wriggle out of any issues down the line.

    Good luck

Cheers but already lost it to the exchange 🙁 ….. just gotta work out how to qualify my mate for his “referal” money now…

I assume I gotta wager £30 in bets (so another £20 to go) for him to get it…. just betting the £10 bonus i received wont be enough.

    I assume I have to bet 3 × £10’s.

Would this be correct do you know… As again confused with the wagering of deposit and or bonuses

Absolutely no idea. never done a referal, no mates!

if its the same as the bonus but you’ve lost the bet i assume you’ve got to deposit and bet through again. But at least it should be as “qualifying bets”, so you shouldn’t lose too much, and you won’t have to rollover.

Lol… just been on chat with them. I have to bet £400 to get my mate his £40 for referring me so only another £390 to go …..

    Don’t think so !
