They’ve separated the boosts out now, presumably too many people not getting it. So normal boost can’t be used on golf

Think they’re all or mostly all top 4 1/4 odds now enigma. Maybe end of first days play they drop it, the extra places never normally last too long in play.

McIlroy is laying at 6.8. So you could back 20 and lay just McIlroy for a QL £3.11. So your 3.11 down no matter if McIlroy wins/loses and then you would be £120 returned if Fowler wins. That’s almost 40/1 effective on Fowler which is decent compared to bookies 18/1.

I can’t see the super boost at all? I’ve used the normal boost on football but every time I pick a player to check the boosted odds there’s no boost at all, let alone a super boost. Am I missing something?

I get the same problem MB. Happens with the boost on all Premier League games and when I looked at the golf earlier out of curiousity after using my normal boost it wasnt there either. I thought perhaps you have to wait for play to resume at 1.30pm but seems like others have been able to use their boost this morning.

I’m not fussed enough about bet boost on anything other than horse racing to go on live chat and bug them for it but I suggest you do so.

I found that shutting the app down and going back in showed it (didn’t show before). Also when my account was £0 it showed after a deposit. Not sure why but there you go. It seems they have a lot of glitches with the boosts.

McIllroy was 5.9 as he stepped up to the tee, first shot a little left in to the trees and hes out to 8.6.

Spieths start could have been a goldmine but yeah impossible to predict, silly odds on him.

Got on DJ at boosted 36.0/17.0 for a decent stake, happened to be looking at odds just as he eagled 2nd today*.

Taking a risk free shot at a grand but may lay a little if the price comes in.

Looks like the secret is to wait till one of the tip guys gets an eagle then use your boost before price updates.

*Was at my mums wake and had a quiet 5 minutes… she will turn in her grave if he wins. Had to postpone holiday this week that was being paid for with my “ill gotten gains”.

Small bit of ew value at paddy who are still 5 places. McIlroy, Spieth, Fowler. Probably not worth laying the place as the back lay gap is pretty high so won’t be getting the best value.

Rory has v little back liquidity at smarkets this morning. So you can get 8/7.4 with the boost with a bit of patience (well the time it took me to get 1 my kids washed and dressed!!)

Not the huge inplay potential, but the book balancing arb I was looking for. I’ve got money on the whole top 8 of the betting market now, pretty sure it’s all arbing money to for the win and/or place but not 100% certain

Good heads up for paddys 5 places. Hoffman and Matsuyama offering 17.0/9.2 and 17.0/10ish place arbs. Bit of a loss on wins but still profitable.

Ahhh i can only bet to win £500 now so will just run Hoffman bet as some insurance against other bets.

Alot of big hitters getting in mix now. Decent use of boost inplay when Thomas was 11.0/11.0 boosted to 13ish for a free shot at a couple of hundred there.

Spieth not though! Although I’d be inclined to say 50-1 is a bit long if I thought I knew anything about golf . He recorded 3 under on the back 9 thurs, repeat of that puts him back in the chasing pack
