US Open Bet

I must confess I am no golf expert so I just wanted to check before I go hound the bookie… I placed a £5.00 free bet on Angel Cabrera earlier first round 3 ball, odds were 3.75. The bet won, but Ladbrokes only paid me £4.38 in winnings. How is that correct? I was expecting £13.75?
I also laid the same thing at Befair, odds of 4.00, stake of £3.48 – was expecting them to take £10.44 off me but they only took my stake.
Can’t help but feel I am missing something here!
