Value betting/trading

Matched betting is very very welcome for extra earnings, however I’m also planning to start with value betting. Is anyone familiar with this? I don’t mean mugging on which team you think will win, but using statistical models to predict the outcome.
You’ll never know for sure which team will win of course, but considering for example that models provide a team 50% chance to win and has an odd of 3 it’s logically a value bet. Is anybody doing this and which sites or trading models do you use? I’ve read goalprofits.com perhaps seems to be good but haven’t started yet. This one focuses on trading instead of betting. This takes more time I assume as you need to follow the match live and trade based on events occuring during the match. More like trading in financial markets, which I’m very keen on but is much more efficient than soccer betting markets (so more difficult to beat in the long term).
