Virtual Machines?

  • Hi guys.

Got my hands on brand new sets of accounts recently and at first I was thinking about buying lots of diff. phones to use with VPN but then I got told about virtual machines and how they can save me money and effort while matched betting. Any of you use one? If so, I’ll proceed with specific questions.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I assume you could use a Windows VPS, you’d need something fairly nippy (2gb ram VPS pretty slow for browser IMO) so would want something with 4gb ram or so, but that drives costs up.

Basically connect to the VPS via your PC. So you’d need to be at a PC as doing off a phone would be time consuming, unless it was for bet £10 get £5, new customer offers etc. Arbing would be a deffo no no as phone to VPS is pretty sluggish.

Another factor would be the possibility like Hills and Bet365 won’t allow you to access their sites much like a VPN. I got a few old phones from previous contracts etc that I just run a 2gb data monthly sim on each

i can probably help you out with vps choices if u want with windows, or linux with/without windows emulation. If all ur using is the web browser u dont need windows linux will be fine. UK ip addresses no problem, or even european ones for people who wanna access bookies we in uk are blocked from. I can even test if those datacenter ips get blocked by bookies.

At the moment im working on a little personal project to catch those arbs with exchanges and bookies that provide an api. Sometimes they are automatically taken up long before i can push all the keys by other hacker nerds programs 😀 we’ll see how that goes

Never been into Linux but if you can get Windows emulation or a browser then that would be sweet as Linux VPS’ are massively cheaper than Windows.

Good luck on the projects matchedbet, looking to automate some arbs via API?

yeah its the easy way to printing cash. Ofc with a lot of testing first 😀

Firefox and chrome both have native linux versions, windows IE and Edge will run under WINE (google linux wine!) but why would anyone use microsoft browsers these days anyway… crap crap crap.

That would literally print money if you could programme something like that, I guess you could set some variables for arb % to lay at, and a % to lay if drift to ensure the odds don’t lengthen beyond a reasonable tolerance.

Would imagine that would be a right ball ache to do but if you’ve got the knowledge and can code that well then why not!
