  • Betfred do a Money Back 2nd between 5-7pm (Opt In Required)

Would it be profitable just value betting the fav every race to make money from the FBs

Everyone bets on the same races so they will just be using a RNG to make the odds a probably a true reflection.

In theory, if the odds are true odds at least- but I suspect the underlying result calculations are on RTP rather than the odds or if everyone backed the favourite and nothing else they’d lose out.
I’ve done virtual racing offers with clearer value than this, thought about this one but not tried it

I believe the odds are true odds based on a RNG. I collected odds and results for about a month once to verify for research on a similar offer.

They don’t seem to have a bias built in for the favourite like real bookie odds. So you can figure out the true prob easy by getting the implied odds and dividing by overround. You can’t do this in general on real odds because the overround is weighted more on the underdogs.

Most races still were not particularly good value though because of the large and open fields and large over round.

Also I think betdaq has a market for virtual racing so you may be able to lay off.
