Website New Feature Idea – Choose Bookies on a tick list

  • A suggestion for a new feature on Matched Betting Blog. I have a number of bookies that I have been banned from for promos and offers.

On Matched Betting Blog you can temporarily hide those bookies in the reload offers, but they reappear for each new offer.

    Suggestion:
In the account user profile, provide a tick list of bookies that the user would like to see in reloads.

    Reason:
It is frustrating as a user to see all the wonderful offers flying past that you cannot take advantage of unless you multi-account, and that’s not for me. However, seeing those offers does put me off doing matched betting.

Therefore if I were in ignorance bliss of the other offers that would be great. It could also be used by people who have not signed up to specific bookies.

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

    Hi @bettingbitz.

Once you add a bookmaker to your ‘Gubbed bookmakers’ list, it should block their offers from appearing until you remove the bookmaker from the list.

I’ve had a check, and everything seems to be working as it should be.

I’ll drop you an email shortly, though, and we’ll see if we can get to the bottom of it for you.

    I hope that helps.

    Hi Matt,

Thanks for the reply. I knew you must have already thought of this so apologies.

How do I navigate to the Gubbed Bookmakers list, I have had a look through the website but can’t find the option?

    No worries @bettingbitz.

‘OFFERS’ on the main menu at the top of the page and then ‘RELOAD OFFERS’.

Select the ‘Gubbed Bookmakers’ filter at the top of the calendar, and then you should be able to add the bookmakers you’re gubbed with using the dropdown.

You need to register an account (completely free) and be logged in for it to work.

    I hope that helps.

Perfect. I must have been on that page dozens of times and read gubbed bookmakers but never thought to click it! I have now and job done. Thanks again.
